What YOU Can Do!

It is time to take our food and our lives into our own hands and become personally responsible for the health of our bodies and planet. Because, ultimately, this is one day. One event to help bring your awareness to this important issue...but ultimately, it's what we do with that awareness and information that counts. What we do when we're NOT at this event matters most. We each have an opportunity to make choices that reflect the change you wish to see every day. The bottom line is this - WE need to become more personally responsible for our choices and the impact they are having on us as individuals, our families, our communities and our Great Mother Earth.

We are the consumers, and this is a consumer driven world. If you don't buy it - they won't make it. It's important that we understand that we are in control here and begin to take some personal responsibility for what's going on. It is our own addiction to convenience and laziness that has allowed companies like Monsanto thrive. Now, the problem has grown to the point where if we choose not to take action we could loose access to healthy choices for food. "Healthy" = NOT POISON.

It's time to write letters and make phone calls. Tell your local grocery store, restaurant & politician that you demand GMO-FREE food options and that you want labels on the food you buy of all ingredients the food may contain. You have a right to know - and you also have a right to not give companies your money if they won't comply with this.

  1. Do you eat soy? You're eating GMO soy unless it's the product is USDA Certified Organic. Always. Good to remember that

  2. Do you eat any processed food? --stuff that comes in boxes from factories?--(pretty much everything that isn't a pure fruit or vegetable). You're eating GMO soy and corn. Nearly all processed foods have soy and corn hidden in all those wacky ingredients and unless it's Organic, it's GMO. Good to remember.

  3. Just because the product says "USDA Organic" doesn't mean it's non-GMO. Always look for the "NON GMO Project VERIFIED" label to be assured the item is GMO-free.
